The restaurant founded 94 years ago by Colonel Harland Sanders, and launched as KFC in 1952 -- now with 30,000 locations in 150 countries -- has been testing a new version of their chicken tenders, and last week it was rolled out in West Palm Beach. The biggest difference is how they are prepared. This new edition shares the same Original Recipe as their signature chicken, and like their chicken, they are double hand-breaded and pressure-cooked. The result? Two boxes of their three-tender plus a biscuit meals were delivered to our door, as well as samples of a new sauce they are also offering: Comeback Sauce. After trying them both out, Pam and I were unanimous: Delicious! Crunchy on the outside, moist and tender inside -- what's not to like? Plus the new peppery sauce tastes a little like Cane's, but with a kick. It's good on either the tenders or the biscuit. Available for a limited time at most of their West Palm Beach-area locations, the three tender meal with a biscuit is $5. We enjoyed ours so much we headed to our local KFC in North Palm Beach and ordered more. The Colonel would be proud. ![]() (Press Release) West Palm Beach, Fla.
